i analysed a magazine article to find out the techniques that magazines use to make a good article. i looked at the:

• use of images


• use of colours and fonts


• layout

Article analysis

This article has used a colour scheme; this makes it unique and enables it to be recognised from what magazine it is from.
It has one large image; the main image from the article and then a smaller one, extra images from the story.
Parts of the interview have been taken out and enlarged; these are important parts that the reader would be interested in.
The font and size of the font used makes it look important. This is eye catching and would make the reader stop and read it. The font used is large and it is written in stand- out colours; red and yellow.
There is ‘news’ written across the top in red and yellow, this would suggest the article was important news that should be read.
The word ‘exclusive’ is used, this instantly makes the reader read it as it means that it is the only report on that particular thing and makes the reader think they are only going to be able to read that in this magazine.
